ESS FirePro 1977 EX Goggle

The ESS FirePro-1977â„¢ Series includes the most advanced low-profile willdand fire and rescue goggles on the market. The compact frame design prevents helmet interference while increasing peripheral vision.

The ESS FirePro-1977 EXâ„¢ model features a two-piece strap system with Snap-on/Snap-offâ„¢ helmet mounting brackets. Each strap contains a circular grommet that snaps on and off the two mounting brackets, which attach to a helmet brim with no drilling required:

This patented system allows the goggles to be stowed in a pocket and quickly deployed, or they can remain attached to the brackets and kept on either the front or back of the helmet. In either case, this system works extremely well in conjunction with face shields or Bourke flip-downs.

The patented ESS Speed-Clipâ„¢ strap system makes adjusting the FireProâ„¢ straps quick and easy, even with gloves on.

The full-perimeter ventilation and filtration system minimizes lens fogging and filters airborne particles, dust, and debris.

The FirePro-1977 EXâ„¢ features battlefield-proven OpFoamâ„¢, a thin-yet-durable anti-microbial face padding that provides maximum comfort and ease of cleaning. Like all other components of the FirePro EXâ„¢, the OpFoamâ„¢ is heat and flame resistant.

The extra-thick, 2.8mm high-impact lenses provide wide peripheral vision and distortion-free optics. These lenses also feature ESS' advanced ClearZoneâ„¢ FlowCoat lens treatments, which provide an optimal combination of anti-scratch coatings on the outside of the lens and anti-fog coatings on the inside.

The FirePro-1977 EX™ is certified to meet the NFPA 1977 wildland fire equipment performance requirements, including the 350°F for 5-minute oven test. They are also U.S. Federal OSHA compliant, exceed the requirements of ANSI Z87.1?2015, and are considered Primary Eye Protection by NFPA 1500.

FireProâ„¢ goggles use Profileâ„¢ Series lenses, all of which provide 100% UVA/UVB protection and distortion-free optical clarity. These high-impact, 2.8mm polycarbonate lenses meet and exceed ANSI Z87.1?2015 and CE.

A prescription eyewear solution is available for ESS FireProâ„¢ goggles: the ESS U-Rxâ„¢ Insert. This prescription carrier is cross-compatible with ESS Cross-Seriesâ„¢ and ICEâ„¢ Eyeshields, providing an Rx solution that can be used across numerous ESS eye pro platforms:
